The Service Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all the sites for Poulette. They are committed to achieving customer satisfaction, consistency, and quality compliance with all operating standards. The Service Manager, focuses on training, onboarding, and upholding operational standards across multiple locations, while collaborating closely with the Kitchen Manager.
Inspire and motivate teams to uphold operational standards and deliver exceptional service. Collaborate closely with kitchen managers and other operational staff to ensure a cohesive, high-performance working environment.
Maintain and update training modules for various roles within the organization. Conduct practical onboarding sessions for new hires. Provide ongoing training to ensure all staff members are well-versed in operational standards and techniques.
Provide leadership and direction for all operational aspects across multiple locations.
Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff.
Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
Establish and enforce standardised operational procedures across all locations.
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment across all locations.
Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure seamless kitchen and operational coordination.
Monitor operational performance metrics and address deviations promptly.
Ensure consistent and exceptional customer service standards across all locations.
Adapt strategies and operations to changing circumstances and industry trends.
Establish a system for reporting and communication across all locations.
Enforce and adhere to the established dress code and hygiene standards.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement in all operational aspects.
Foster effective communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Education and Experience:
At least five years of relevant service experience or two years of management experience
There will be both service and office hours as this is a split role.
Work hours should never exceed 37 per week per company policy for ALL employees.
Some weeks will naturally be longer than 37 hours per week. The service manager is expected to use excellent time management skills to balance their own schedule.
